Deadline:
Being a bi-annual journal, our volumes are published in July and December. However, we accept blog
submissions on the rolling basis but there may be a theme for each month.
Submission:
Contributions to SLR must be made in the electronic form only. Please mail contributions to
" slrmcs.official@gmail.com ", with the subject ‘Submission for Socio-Legal Review of
Marginalised and Conflict Studies– e.g. Volume 1(I)’.
Timeline and Procedure:
SLRMCS is committed to expediting and optimizing the review procedure. Our standard
response time to authors with reviews is usually within two to three weeks. Our review
process comprises two successive rounds of internal evaluations conducted by the Editorial
Board. Upon receiving approval in both rounds, the manuscript undergoes two parallel
double-blind peer reviews. Authors are advised to anticipate incorporating necessary
revisions suggested by the Editorial Board before the manuscript's final publication.
Conditions of Publication:
Kindly be advised that manuscripts not adhering to these stipulated guidelines may be
returned or declined. While our endeavour is to furnish substantial feedback for each
manuscript received, the volume of submissions may occasionally limit our capacity to do so
comprehensively. It is important to acknowledge that we retain the discretion to decline
manuscripts without furnishing detailed feedback.
Moreover, in instances where a manuscript submitted to SLRMCS has also been submitted
and accepted by another journal, the author is required to retract their submission from
SLRMCS. Should SLRMCS accept the manuscript first, the author is expected to withdraw it
from consideration at all other journals. Neglecting to comply with this procedure may result
in the exclusion of the submission from further consideration for publication in SLRMCS.
